About Me​

I am a warm, compassionate clinical psychologist and for over thirty years I have provided psychological treatment and support for adults using evidence-based therapies. 

​

I am skilled in treating psychological disorders and health challenges, including mood, anxiety, drug and alcohol problems, grief, complex trauma, and chronic physical, sexual, and mental health conditions.

​

I continue to work in public health, focusing on diverse populations, including those facing minority stress, LGBTQI+ communities, people living with HIV, sexual health issues and, working with people from culturally diverse backgrounds.

​

I individualise therapy, taking an eclectic therapeutic approach, drawing on cognitive-behavioural, acceptance and commitment, schema, dialectic, motivational, narrative and mindfulness approaches, and acknowledging early attachment and trauma experiences.

 

I am an endorsed clinical psychologist, and can provide Medicare rebates for those with a mental health care plan (MCHC) through a GP.

 

I also have a passion for training, teaching, research and facilitation.
